    About the Opportunity

    DMI is seeking a highly motivated and talented Digital Commerce Architect/Consultant to join our team. As the leader of the European Commerce Business, this person will engage in the sales process, scoping of engagements, delivery of engagements, and development of the Commerce Practice to support European clients. 

    The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of B2C and B2B commerce from a business perspective, as well as strong familiarity with modern commerce solutions and platforms, including micro-services architectures, Oracle Commerce, Magento, Hybris, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and others. 

    He or she will have strong leadership skills and great client communication skills, as well as a track record of exceptional performance with regard to selling commerce-related services and delivering high-quality solutions in a complex environment. In addition, we would like the candidate to have a strong network in Europe, as well as an understanding of how commerce participates in the broader ecosystem of Order Management, Product Information Management, Marketing Automation, Search, and other digital commerce supporting solutions. 

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Engage with the sales teams to position and sell Digital Commerce Solutions
    • Develop trusted relationships with our Digital Commerce Clients
    • Build the team for Digital Commerce in Europe with emphasis on global delivery, leveraging our US Digital Commerce capabilities and growing based on business needs
    • Engage with our Presidents of Commerce and International to align on strategy and plans
    • Engage with our VP of Sales for International to align on strategy and plans

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 10 years of experience in the Digital Commerce or Retail B2C industry
    • Experience with 2+ major solutions in the Digital Commerce space, e.g., Oracle Commerce, Magento, Hybris, micro-services architecture, IBM, etc.
    • Demonstrated sales and leadership capabilities
    • Demonstrated program management and delivery team capabilities
    • Demonstrated services consulting and client relationship management
    • Experience with Fortune 500 clients


    Additional Qualifications:

    • Understanding of modern digital capabilities outside of commerce stacks, such as cloud hosting/infrastructure/provisioning, micro-services, modern search platforms, analytics and tag management platforms, dev ops and automation, etc.
    • Ability to excite and motivate both clients and commerce team members
    • Thought leadership ability
    • Development of content in the commerce space for client consumption and marketing
    • Ability to provide guidance to accurately scope and price large projects involving multiple team members and work streams
