    DMI is offering an exciting opportunity as a Senior Analyst – Business Development, a multi-faceted role that will fundamentally support some of the most dynamic and intense federal and commercial business development processes, connecting you with our global teams and enabling you to be part of our fun and inspiring work culture.

    As a business development analyst, your core focus would be to research, identify and qualify business opportunities for DMI’s federal government unit, utilizing various online sources. Further, the profile will extend support to relevant projects involving monitoring of government funding reports and procurement forecasts, creation of competitive analyses and market research reports.



    • Proactively support all phases of federal business development initiatives.
    • Work directly with the executive management and BD team. Identify and qualify new business opportunities by performing research and analyses utilizing various online tools/resources
    • Participate in various meetings, conference calls, and other business development sessions as needed to provide updates on pertinent upcoming or in-process opportunities
    • Conduct in-depth research, and market and competitive analyses. Produce opportunity pipeline reports and analysis data for presentation to executive team.
    • Ensure proposal shop knowledgebase is kept updated in the SharePoint Business Development tool
    • Handle ad hoc tasks with short deadlines while supporting ongoing commitments.
    • Support Capture Manager/Opportunity Lead to ensure winning technical, management, price, and past performance approaches are developed; work with the proposal team to annotate these in the proposal, and provide additional support, as required
    • This role is expected to mature and contribute towards proposal response while working with key internal stakeholders 


    • Minimum 2-4 years of full-time experience with proven expertise in B2B business development, research and analysis functions
    • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication
    • Detail oriented, analytical, with a strong customer service orientation
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Solid organizational and time management skills
    • Fair understanding of latest and emerging technologies, with a passion to stay updated with the latest trends and developments


    • Prior experience with enterprises, particularly in the field of IT, and catering to the U.S. government
    • Familiarity with leveraging research and insights by Gartner, Forrester and IDC
    • Experience with Microsoft Office, with good understanding of Microsoft Excel, particularly for data visualization and analysis
    • Understanding of RFx process, from BD to sales closure
    • APMP certificate would be an added advantage 


    • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, or related fields
