    If you are a user-centric, curious and proactive UX Designer interested in joining a multi-disciplined Customer Experience team that covers a diverse range of competencies like Business Design, Service Design, Visual Design and UX, we would really like to talk to you.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    The UX Designer works closely with clients and DMI software delivery teams to translate business requirements and user needs into a meaningful service concept and execution plan.

     

    The UX Lead knows how to navigate ambiguity and balance customer expectations with product requirements and project constraints. In addition to having a problem solving mindset, the UX Designer is often tasked to work with Service Designers to uncover user problems using Lean UX and Service Design methodologies.

     

    The UX Designer drives our customers success by collaborating with fellow designers, user researchers and program managers to express early service/product concepts through a variety of prototyping methods such as sketching, storyboarding, interactive prototypes, user scenarios and wireframes. You are able to create test scenarios, validate assumptions, gather, decode and translate user feedback into intentional design decisions. 

     

    Qualifications

    Key Requirements:

     

    • 3+ years’ experience
    • Proven success using Lean UX
    • Design and specify user interfaces, services, and multi-touchpoint experiences using participatory and iterative design techniques, including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of requirements discovery.
    • Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.
    • Ability to craft, structure, and execute professional level design workshops for designers and non-designers
    • Very knowledgeable of design patterns and how to apply them within a variety of contexts (vehicle, mobile, web, etc.)
    • In-depth knowledge and experience of user interface design with consumer applications, mobile devices, telecommunications, and automotive.
    • Advanced knowledge of design and prototyping tools, such as Sketch, Adobe Suite, InVision, Principle, Framer, etc.
    • Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, etc)

     

    Standout Qualities:

    • Advanced degree in Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field.
    • Mobile technology experience
    • Experience within retail, manufacturing, finance, automotive, healthcare, travel & hospitality industries
    • Understanding of agile development best practices
